Want to enjoy run after run without burning yourself out on the climbs? The Summit Bike Les Arcs MTB Shuttle is built exactly for that. The concept is simple: forget the chairlifts, our van drops you straight at the start of the valley’s best trails, leaving you free to focus on the riding.
On board, your local MTB guide hand-picks the trails and rides with you, tailoring the day to your ability and the current trail conditions. The result? No pedalling, no climbing, and up to 5,000 metres of descending in a single day. From long alpine descents and technical forest singletrack to the fast, flowing lines that make Tarentaise mountain biking so renowned, you’re in for one of the finest riding experiences the Alps have to offer.

Price includes guiding and shuttle runs, up to a maximum of 7 runs per day.
The idea behind the mountain bike shuttle is straightforward. We take you up to the trailheads, you ride down proper alpine lines, and then we move straight on to the next run.
No long climbs. No dragging yourself up endless pistes. Just continuous descents on varied terrain. Across the day, you’ll link a mix of natural off road riding, forest singletrack, and proper alpine MTB descents.
A full day easily reaches around 5000m of descending, which is pretty much what makes shuttle riding one of the most efficient ways to experience the mountain bike French Alps.
It’s all about keeping you on the bike and in the fun parts of the terrain as much as possible.
This setup is aimed at riders already comfortable on enduro mtb terrain or those who want to push into more alpine-style riding without spending half the day climbing.
If you like technical descents, loose natural trails, fast forest sections and proper mountain riding, you’ll get a lot out of it.
It also works really well if you’re only here for a few days in Les Arcs and want to maximise ride time. Instead of one or two big climbs, you get multiple full descents back to back.
It’s basically a full riding day designed around one thing: more time on trails.

We keep groups small: max 5 riders with a local guide running the day.
That makes a big difference. The guide chooses the trails based on conditions, weather, group level and flow of the day. If something’s riding well, we go there. If not, we move on.
It keeps the whole day smooth, flexible and always on the best available alpine trails.
You’re not just following a fixed route, you’re riding the best version of the valley for that specific day. That’s where local knowledge really matters.
We ride across a wide zone: Les Arcs, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the Tarentaise valley, Beaufortain, and sometimes into the Aosta Valley depending on conditions.
Each area has its own style. Some are fast and flowing, others more raw and technical with proper enduro mtb terrain and natural alpine features.
The advantage of the Mtb shuttle Les Arcs setup is that you don’t waste time linking trails or figuring out logistics. You just get dropped at the right spots and ride the best lines.
Run after run, you end up covering a huge amount of terrain in one day,way more than you’d manage on a normal ride. And that’s really the point: keep it simple, keep it riding, and make the most of the mountains.
